The drama tells a story about Ulfat (Shagufta Ejaz) belongs to a middle class family.
Fearing her marrying age is slipping by, her parents got her married to Jalees (Shafi Muhammad), a middle age businessman who is a divorcee with three children. Jalees
is a kind-hearted and a humble man who re-marries after a bitter divorce. Story revolves around Ulfat and the difficult time she has been given by her step children. She gets around
in making every thing work her way by her patience and tolerance. This is an important play and has a strong message in it for couples – it clearly shows how important a successful marriage, a partnership between a man and his wife is, for the benefit of their children. It also proves that true happiness in marriage lies in little, simple things that we take for granted. A very compelling household drama with some very good acting! If you are looking for a real “gharayloo” story, then do check this one out.
